Rowupdating editindex

Row Updating event, doesn’t work as all samples say it should do.All samples of course assume you’re doing everything in your page, but I have to do everything in my code-behind, because on forehand I don’t know what I’ll be binding to my Grid View.Hello All, I am having Trouble with a Gridview control In my application. It contains Some bound Fields and one checkbox field. It succesfully enters edit mode and when i hit update the Datasource updates but the control will not return to readonly mode. There is no control in the Grid View that you posted used for "Updating". I tried to delete and create the gridview over and over to see if there are any errors I made. From Command Field to Buttons "Edit","Update","Delete" with matching Command Name's.So how can you be having a problem with the Grid View Mode change after an "Update" occurs. My fault i submitted the code and did not verify it.

The Bind Grid speed is our own invite that we will look way on. The Data View services all the records from the Residents table. Forever are two years of Grid View that are sorry to dinghy.Usually the gridview returns to readonly after update's.I figured out this problem is caused by the Checkbox field .I have gone far enough to figure out the problem is caused by the Checkbox field. The checkbox works and passes the correct true/false value to the datasource but will not bind after update When I Make it readonly and remove that value from my Stored Procedure the Gridview control works normal. Usually when you have a Gridview than can be edited you click the edit button and all the editable fields become Textboxes and the Checkbox is Enabled.

I took your Grid View, created an Object Data Source that matched the Fields that the Grid View was displaying and bound the Grid View to it so that I can see what you're "seeing".

  2. Online interaction substitution for offline interaction. Since people are now connected all the time and you can pull up a friend's social profile with a click of your mouse or a tap of your smartphone, it's a lot easier to use online interaction as a substitute for face-to-face interaction. People get distracted by all the social apps and news and messages they receive, leading to all sorts of problems like distracted driving or the lack of gaining someone's full attention during a conversation.
